Sir Danilo Peralta, KGOR

Sir Danilo Peralta, KGOR is the current Area Commander of Eastern Australia, ANZO Region. He is a recipient of four medals namely: Distinguished Service Cross Medal, Distinguished Service Star, Distinguished Service and Medal of Recognition. Born in Limay Bataan on 10 June 1948, married to Lady Josie with 3 children and five grandchildren.
Danilo Peralta has been an active community leader for many years. True to Rizalian spirit of service and excellence, through his leadership he has initiated key projects and activities in KoR ANZO Region notably the first KoR Regional Assembly and Conference in 2018. Likewise, he is the key figure in the promotion of Filipino language and Balagtasan in Australia being the founding President of Tagalog Association of Australia.
Among his fellow knights and Filipinos here in Sydney, Australia, Sir Danny is known as a Man of Action – and Result: proven by his many achievements. But with all his remarkable accomplishments, he has remained humble and easy to deal with. He is an active leader of the Filipino community in Sydney having served either as President or Treasurer of many associations especially as Treasurer of Philippine Community Council of NSW a peak body organization of the Filipino community and as State Treasurer of the Knights of the Southern Cross – NSW a counterpart organization of the Knights of Columbus.
Danilo Peralta has an outstanding executive corporate role in Accounting and Finance which gives him strong business ocumen and skills needed in the continuous development of the Order of the Knights of Rizal. His major accomplishments and chapters created are testimonies to his unselfish service to the order He has founded 2 KOR Chapters in New Zealand, 2 Chapters in Sydney, Australia, and 2 Chapters in Bataan. He was also instrumental in founding of the first Chapter of Kababaihang Rizalista in Sydney.
Sir Danny graduated "Accounting Honors one Year" with BSBA degree Major in Accounting at University of the East, Manila in 1968. He then passed the CPA Board Exam in 1969. From 1971-1972, he taught at the Technological Institute of the Philippines where he was awarded the most outstanding professor based on teaching proficiency, mastery of the subjects being taught, assessed and evaluated by the school administration and students. He is currently semi-retired and working as a free-lance immigration consultant, and real estate broker in Australia. Prior to his retirement, he was the Group Financial Controller / Financial Director of The Parks Apartment Pty Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Stockland PropertyTrust where he was recognized by the company board through the Chairman of the company the best and most efficient accountant of the whole group within the company.
Purpose of Running as Trustee member of the Supreme Council:
To be able to share my knowledge and experience in accounting, financial management and company restructuring with the introduction and implementation of newly company policies and procedures, accounting manual, auditing manual towards the full computerization of the financial reports in order to achieve efficient reporting and also to be able to introduce full budget reporting.
